31 years ago today....

....I entered the world. Wow. Thirty - one. As I sit at my desk, working (haha), I can't help but think about - or evaluate rather, how things are going so far. School for umpteen years, including all the great athletic/social memories and a college career - CHECK. Marriage and kids - CHECK. Car and home - CHECK.
In the last year I've made a major career change, which for the most part, I'm content with. So that's a good thing. I'm still married which is great considering the things my friends are going through and facing these days. My children are healthy, thriving, and growing like weeds, which makes my heart smile. Sounds cheezy, even as I type it, but it's true. Jack and I are still employed which we are grateful for everyday in these hard times, although Jack's hours have been cut. Bills are getting paid so YAY! Still struggling with the ever so frustrating weight battle, so there's a notch in the "CONS" column.
Am I where I aimed to be, say, ten years ago? Well, I don't think I was thinking that far ahead at 21, but overall - I think so. Where do I/we go from here? Who knows!! :)~ I'm just thankful to be here, and thankful for the amazing people I have in my life. Another birthday. The big 3-1. I say it out loud and it doesn't sound very interesting. But hey - it's still my day, all day :)
