It was so incredibly nice to have Memorial Day weekend off; both from work and baseball. But of course all it did was RAIN the majority of the time. Jack, the kids and I enjoyed being silly at home, renting movies and eating popcorn. We cruised through the flea market one day, hit up the Wal-Mart (of course). I cooked home made chicken enchiladas and a couple of other yummy appetizers on Sunday for the family (Knorrs too). And what happened Monday?
THE SUN CAME OUT!!! WOOOHOOO!!!
We took full advantage - everything from yard work, practicing baseball, swimming, to simply hanging out in the yard (I enjoyed the rocking chair on mom's front porch). I couldn't have asked for a more relaxing, precious, family filled weekend.
